This painting is inspired by the colours and shapes found in Asian artefacts. I have had many enjoyable trips to different countries in Asia and I have always been fascinated by their culture and art. This painting has a restrained colour palette using only three colours. The colours are laid down and then scraped back to reveal the layer underneath. This painting has been done with acrylic paint on canvas. It is framed in a black shadow box frame with a glass front. It is signed on the front and back and comes ready to hang.
