This painting is a tribute to the Cyndi Lauper song that we all love. It is bursting with exuberant colour and texture. Girls Just Wanna Have Fun is a painting about letting your hair down and celebrating life. With loose strokes and botanical references, it reminds me of tropical holidays, long lunches, colourful flowers and having fun! It has layers of acrylic paint mixed with a gloss which gives a light sheen to the painting. It is highlighted with gold paint. The sides are painted white. It comes with a certificate of authenticity and it is registered in the National Registry of Australian art and Artists. Registration number provided. It comes ready to hang with wire and d hooks. Please note the dimensions of the painting as it may appear larger in the insitu photographs.
