When I painted Return To Calm I wanted to paint something that evoked a feeling of being at peace to function as a small oasis in the turbulent times we are all facing right now. Using soft neutral colours like cream and taupe with little pops of blue and aqua this painting has a gentle and nurturing energy. It has many layers of colour, texture and mark-making. It comes with a certificate of Authenticity and is signed on the front. It is recorded in the National Registry of Australian Art and Artists, registration number supplied.
